Unfortunately many to often, we find the discipline of enterprise architeture evolving into something very few people understand – something the business don’t understand – and it becomes hard to identify the value of maintaining an enterprise architecture.

Though the solution is obvious, most often it seems hard to implement. Enterprise architeture shall always start with the business and the needs of the business. However, sadly we often find the enterprise architecture evolving into something abstract having more a technical aspect than a business focus. Consequently, the enterprise architeture ends up being an obstacle rather than an enabler to the business.
